Frequently Asked Questions

You don't need to have everything figured out before taking the next step.

Here are answers to some of the questions you may have about mental fitness, the 7-Week Mental Fitness Experience, and working with me.

About Mental Fitness

What is mental fitness?

Mental fitness is your ability to respond to life's challenges with greater awareness, resilience, and self-trust.

Just as physical fitness strengthens your body through practice, mental fitness helps you practice noticing unhelpful thought patterns, pausing before automatically reacting, and choosing a response that supports you.

The goal isn't to never feel anxious, frustrated, overwhelmed, or uncertain. It's to build your ability to meet those moments differently.

What is Positive Intelligence® (PQ®)?

Positive Intelligence® is the mental fitness framework I use during the 7-Week Mental Fitness Experience.

It helps you recognize the internal patterns that can fuel self-doubt, perfectionism, people-pleasing, overthinking, and unnecessary pressure—and practice responding from a calmer, wiser perspective.

The work combines short daily practices with real-life application, so you're not simply learning concepts. You're practicing them in the moments that matter.

Is this therapy?

No. Coaching and mental fitness are not therapy, psychotherapy, or medical treatment.

Our work focuses on awareness, practical mental fitness skills, personal growth, and the way you want to respond to situations in your life now and moving forward.

If you need support for a mental health condition, trauma, or another concern that requires clinical care, a licensed mental health professional is the appropriate resource. Coaching can sometimes complement professional care, but it does not replace it.

The 7-Week Mental Fitness Experience

What happens during the 7 weeks?

Over seven weeks, you'll learn and practice mental fitness tools that help you notice the patterns creating unnecessary pressure and respond with greater awareness and self-trust.

You'll use the PQ® app for short daily practices and we'll meet for coaching to help you apply what you're learning to your real life.

This isn't about doing everything perfectly. It's about practicing consistently enough to begin responding differently—one thing at a time.

How much time will I need each day?

The daily practices are intentionally short and designed to fit into real life.

Consistency matters more than perfection. You don't need another demanding routine or another reason to judge yourself for falling behind.

We'll focus on building a practice you can actually use in everyday moments.

What kinds of things can we work on?

We can apply the mental fitness tools to the situations that are creating pressure in your actual life.

That might include overthinking a conversation, struggling to say no without guilt, second-guessing yourself at work, people-pleasing, perfectionism, difficult relationships, or pursuing something you want without waiting until you feel completely ready.

The specific situations will be personal to you.

Do I need experience with coaching or PQ®?

Not at all.

You don't need previous coaching experience, knowledge of Positive Intelligence®, or a perfect routine before you begin.

I'll guide you through the process and help you understand how to use the practices in your own life.

Before We Work Together

How do I know if this experience is right for me?

This experience may be a good fit if you're tired of putting so much pressure on yourself and want practical support for building greater awareness, self-trust, and resilience.

You may recognize patterns such as overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, self-doubt, or being much harder on yourself than you would ever be on someone you love.

You don't need to be certain before reaching out. That's what our conversation is for.

What if I'm very busy?

You're not expected to rearrange your entire life around the program.

The practices are intentionally small because mental fitness is meant to support your real life—not become another obligation you have to perform perfectly.

We'll focus on what is realistic and sustainable for you.

What if I miss a day or fall behind?

You come back.

There is no prize for perfect participation, and missing a practice doesn't mean you've failed.

Part of this work is learning to respond to yourself differently when things don't go exactly as planned.

One thing at a time is enough.

Do you only work with women who have ADHD?

No. My work is designed for women who recognize themselves in patterns such as overthinking, self-doubt, people-pleasing, perfectionism, anxiety, and putting enormous pressure on themselves.

Some women I work with may have ADHD and find the mental fitness approach especially useful for creating greater awareness and self-support, but an ADHD diagnosis is not required to work with me.

Do I have to be in a particular location to work with you?

No. Coaching is offered online, so we can work together from wherever you are, subject to scheduling availability and any applicable professional requirements.

Still Have a Question?

You don't need to decide anything before we talk.

If you're wondering whether the 7-Week Mental Fitness Experience fits what you need right now, we can start with a complimentary 15-minute “I Want to Glow” conversation.

We'll talk about what's been weighing on you, what you'd like to feel differently, and whether working together feels like the right next step.

No preparation. No pressure.

One thing at a time is enough.
